LOL, you’ll have to go back and read to get the full story (which is long, sad, and pathetic for everyone involved), but I was being sarcastic. I know it doesn’t translate well, but you should just realize that nobody would seriously say “What was I thinking expressing an original thought?”.

the saving is probably more than the cost, but so are wind farms, solar panels, and other renewable energy sources. the real question is can it be cheap than fossil fuel.

They probably are coils much like wind turbines use to generate electricity except as the elements go up and down instead of spinning.
